Thank you for taking the time to register for the upcoming Florida SIM Annual Update to be held on January 28-29, 2009 at the:

In order to allow the majority of our participants to drive in on the first morning, our session will begin at 9:30AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 and conclude by 3:30PM on Thursday, January 29, 2009.

The FDLRS Administration/HRD Project will be taking care of making hotel reservations at the Orlando Downtown Marriott in Orlando, Florida for those of you who live over 50 miles from the hotel based on double occupancy. If you prefer a private room, you will be responsible for paying one-half of the $133/night special rate ($66.50/night). You will be forwarded confirmation information to use upon check in at the hotel and the FDLRS Administration/HRD Project will be paying for your hotel directly.

The FDLRS Administration/HRD Project will NOT be reimbursing individuals directly. Therefore, all participants will be responsible for coordinating his/her individual travel reimbursement at the local level. Please contact your local FDLRS Associate Center Manager for details.

The FDLRS Administration/HRD Project welcomes SIM Professional Developers from out of state. However, we will only be paying for hotel rooms of active, Florida-based, district/agency employees. If you are from out of state, we will be happy to make a reservation for you under our room block to secure the discounted rate, but you will be responsible for paying for your room upon checkout.
